For a better identification
- Photograph a single leaf flat against a plain background to capture its shape and edges.
- Add a close-up of the bark and a wider shot of the whole tree for the best accuracy.
- Leaf arrangement (opposite vs. alternate) is a powerful clue — include a twig if you can.
- Flowers, fruit, or seeds, when present, help confirm the exact species.
